Daniel Ambrose is currently exhibiting his new Coastal Bird Series of small oil paintings at the Cheryl Newby Gallery on Pawleys Island, South Carolina. Three of the six 8-inch by 8-inch paintings have been sold.  The series captures terns, sandpipers, gulls, plovers and other shorebirds.

The serene landscape paintings of Florida-based artist Daniel Ambrose capture the environmental treasures unique to the South and are renowned for their extraordinary luminosity and power to evoke a sense of place.
